From 1989 to 1995, a small group of individuals with unique skill sets came together to support air-to-air/air-to-ground weapons testing over the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).  Unwilling to maintain status quo, they came up with innovative solutions to support test missions, and become the best at what they did.  Golden Arms is a pictorial history of that journey, by the actual people who flew and participated in it.  Join them on that journey which they helped develop new air and space technologies that are still being used today and into tomorrow.

"...Mike Williams offers an exquisite behind-the-scenes look at the challenge and thrill associated with flying the edge of the envelope and beyond, taking the reader back to a time when the nation's airpower development program focused on improving an aircraft's combat capability through a variety of missions: faster missiles, larger and more accurate bombs, and systems designed to improve targeting accuracy and a pilot's situational awareness...Mike's gorgeous photographs and stories will take you there, recreating that rush, that edge-of-your-seat appreciation for an art form born out of trust and respect."
